We are pleased to announce that The Greater North Fork Art Gallery is now open every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. It is located just about 3/4 of a mile east of downtown NF. Just follow the signs from the NF Super Market to 57839 Road 225 (Mammoth Pool Road). From Fresno, take Hwy 41 north and turn right on Road 200 - clearly marked as the route to The Sierra Scenic Byway and North Fork. There are 15 adult artists and 15 student artists whose work is now on display at the gallery. There are pieces of art in many different mediums plus books, cards, even wooden treasure boxes.
The artist list includes: Vernon Tallmon, Phyllis Overstreet, Joan Constable, Keith Sauer, Dot Morris, Tiffany Ward, Delores Hadden, Joanne Freemire, Paul Henry Abram, Ruth Rosenthal, Michael Simonian, Mary Sequieros, Vivian Knepel, Rosemary Curry, Carol Gordon and Ginny Jewkes.
Students from North Fork Union School, Minarets and Mountain Oaks High Schools, Chawanakee Academy and North Fork School are also well represented. They include Moorea Boardman, Sarah Bradshaw, Emily Tipton, Bobbi Palmer, Veronica Spaulding, Lauren Stava, Sara Freeman, Roy Coleman, Vanessa Draper, Ryan Briskin, Stefan Brown, Daniel Ramirez and Mallory Miller.
